Contemporary Redux

Taubman Museum of Art
January 27 – September 4, 2016

Selected from the museum’s permanent collection, the exhibition highlighted visitor favorites and new acquisitions from the vault to present a comprehensive sampling of contemporary art. From Petah Coyne’s mixed media sculpture comprised of wax and ribbons to the beautiful, haunting photograph by Australian artist Rosemary Laing of a literally carpeted forest floor, Contemporary Redux featured several seminal new gifts acquired over the past four years by artists making work today. Contemporary Redux was curated by Amy G. Moorefield, Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Collections.
